Legacy of the Calico Project in the context of
Mojave Desert Archeology
 
Fred E. Budinger, Jr., who is Senior Archaeologist for Budinger and Associates, has been a student of the Calico Project for more than 45 years. During that time, he served as the Calico Early Man Site Curator for more than 12 years and Calico Project Director for eight plus years. Learn more about these humans, who are thought to have been in the Manix Basin near the base of the Calico Mountains, over 100,000 years ago.
