Usually includes a tour of the 1891 Heritage House with Period furnishings, the Christian R. Harris Memorial Hall, the First Jail in San Bernardino, and the Historical Society Library. Heritage house is closed for now until we are able to finish moving some things around to complete our recent renovations to the hall and house.  Please call (909)709-1895 if you would like to visit or conduct research.

Strange Happenings and Creatures of the Desert

Jeff Erway will present Strange Happenings and Creatures of the Desert.  Our presenter, who is a desert biologist, will talk about the variety of unusual and in some cases, very strange animals that roam our vast desert.  Some of these are very common, some not so common and also some that have a very “mythical” background.
